For me summer is kinda over. In a good way
Yesterday I came back from my roundtrip through Morocco (with a little Spain) with my girlfriend. We were on the road for 3 weeks in total. My first time in Africa - pure culture clash! No wasn't that bad - it was but very beautiful and extremely hot.
Travelling is the best thing that can happen actually ...
And of course I have taken some pictures. I'll be checking and selecting and uploading the best of them the next days. Hope your summer is also a bunch of hotness!

Oh and by the way: 15th of August, Sziget Festival, Wan-2-Stage, Matatu ... come, dance and enjoy!

You know how this is. Sitting in uni all day long, working on projects that are cool but still not the things that I have on my mind, but in the evenings I just don't have the motivation to get my ideas realized. well, that's when a bit of harddisk raiding comes in handy. just checking my old photo folders to see if I find some cool old photos that I overlooked in the past months/years. there actually are some. but not too many.
anyways, gonna shot new pics soon. I hope. I'm sure, I will ...

Well yeah, I know ... I hardly update my journal. It's not that I don't have nothing to say. It's just .. hmmm

But now there are some things going on I really want y'all to know. It's about my band matatu. We're moving forward with huge steps and it's funny to be involved in all this.
So the manager of a well-known club in Vienna asked us to be our manager - more as an experiment. What came out is quite incredible.

We play at the Sziget Festival!

To be honest, I wouldn't have imagined this in my wildest dreams. It was quite amazing to form a band of 8 people four years ago and to write songs that sound so much cooler with piano and brass and all that. I enjoyed playing some bigger gigs, but I wouldn't have thought that we'd ever play at one of Europe's biggest festivals. Duuuude, it's so crazy!!

So everyone who plans to go to the festival - you might see me on stage dancing around and singing!

Ha minden jól megy, akkor május 9 Budapesten, az A38 hajón játszunk koncertet. Még nem biztos, mert a menedzser még valamit szervezget, de úgy látzsik hogy lesz buli. Már most rettegek attól, hogy milyen lesz magyarul beszélni színpadon fura akcentussal

There are concerts in europe ahead ... if anything turns out to be sure, I let you know.

Yeh I know, I've almost disappeared from here lately. But today I want to share some great musical treasures with you ... it's because of my boosted state of mind concerning music. I was at a really great concert yesterday. A concert of the hungarian band Besh o Drom. And let me tell you one thing - they were amazing. Incredibly energetic and powerful music. They flooded my heart with good music and so I decided to spread and share these emotions Nice, isn't it?

That's all I can say now. I wouldn't say that my first semester in uni was too much to handle. There was just hardly any time left to deal with other projects. As some of you might have noticed. My activity here at DA was reduced to a minimum. Which is because the projects at uni are just as much creative challenge I need. After class I don't really feel like creating something new. Too bad. But I hope this will change when I really get used to the daily routine. Let's see.
Oh yeah and by the way I wish you a really very happy new year. Believe me it will be good!
